Running back Derrick Henry suffered a scary foot injury in the Tennessee Titans' 34-31 overtime win over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday and is set to undergo surgery on Tuesday. While it was initially believed that it could be season-ending, there's optimism that he will be back before 2021 is done, per Ian Rapoport:

This is obviously a huge blow to the Titans, who lose their best player and arguably the MVP of 2021. Henry has been electric once again after leading the NFL in rushing in each of the last two seasons. The former Alabama standout has rushed for 937 yards, which is 350 more than any other player in the league.

The Titans have limited options behind Henry as well. Jeremy McNichols has just five rushes this season and will have to fill in for the time being. It's simply impossible to replace Henry, but hopefully, Tennessee can stay afloat and still make the playoffs. If so, he should be back then.

Also, the Titans will definitely shift their focus to the passing game a lot more. They're fourth in rushing yards but only 21st in passing yards. Without Henry, Ryan Tannehill is going to be throwing the ball a lot more. AJ Brown will be relied upon to step up after a big game on Sunday.
