The Tennessee Titans may have won their Monday Night Football showdown with the Buffalo Bills, but it came with a huge cost: they lost both cornerback Caleb Farley and wide receiver Cam Batson for the season due to injuries.

According to Titans reporter Paul Kuharsky, Farley and Batson both suffered from torn ACLs during the contest and are now expected to be out for the remainder of the 2021-22 season.

Farley, the Titans 22nd overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, was making his first start of the season following the injury to cornerback Kristian Fulton moved to the injured reserve list earlier in the day. Unfortunately, what was expected to be a baptism by fire for the youngster was cut short after he was carted off the field in the second quarter–unable to put any weight on his left leg.

Meanwhile, wide receiver Batson also picked up a knee injury near the end of the first half, to the shock and frustration of the team and the home fans watching on the sidelines.

While the win was huge for the Titans as they improved to 4-2 on the season, it's just hard to celebrate with the slew of injuries they had. Star wideout Julio Jones himself picked up a hamstring injury in the fourth quarter to add more to the team's injury woes.

More details are expected to be provided by the Titans in the coming days, especially with the status of Caleb Farley, Cam Batson and Jones. However, things are certainly not looking good for them in a time they are looking to build some momentum and continue their winning ways.
