The Tennessee Titans may not have put themselves in a position to win the Super Bowl this year, but they still enjoyed a tremendous year, finishing as the AFC's number-one seed. The Titans have finished with a winning record in each of the last six seasons, a stretch of success coinciding with the hiring of general manager Jon Robinson, who arrived in 2016, and head coach Mike Vrabel, who was hired in 2018. The Titans made big moves concerning the future of both Vrabel and Robinson on Tuesday, as reported by the team's website.

Titans General Manager Jon Robinson and head coach Mike Vrabel have reached deals on contract extensions with the organization.

Titans controlling owner Amy Adams Strunk commented on the decision to extend the contracts of both Mike Vrabel and Jon Robinson.

“I am proud to say that Jon and Mike will be leading our football team for years to come,” said Titans controlling owner Amy Adams Strunk. “I have seen the team improve on a yearly basis under their direction, and I know their singular goal is to deliver a championship for our fans.

It's a move that makes sense for the Titans, as the team has made the playoffs three years in a row. Vrabel has matched the franchise record for the most wins in a head coach's first four years in Tennessee while Robinson has earned the second-most wins as a general manager in franchise history.

Vrabel and Robinson clearly have the Titans heading in the right direction and were rewarded for their strong efforts.
