The Tennessee Titans placed quarterback Ryan Tannehill on the COVID-19 list on August 26th, becoming one of several players who tested positive for the virus. However, the team has activated him off the list and he's in line to play in their season opener next weekend, per Adam Schefter:

RB Jeremy McNichols, one of Derrick Henry's backups, will also be able to suit up. Getting Tannehill back for Week 1 is obviously huge for Mike Vrabel and the Titans. He will now be on the field and practicing this week before the campaign officially kicks off next Sunday.

Tannehill will be looking to lead Tennessee to yet another playoff appearance. Last season, he had a 65.5% completion rate and also threw for 33 TDs and over 3,800 yards. Tannehill was one of the Titans players however who was against getting the vaccine, but he ultimately received the jab because of the new COVID-19 rules that have been put in place across the NFL.

The Titans will take on Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals in their opener, which will definitely be a tough game. But with their QB back and Henry poised to lead the league in rushing yards once again, Tennessee is going to be a serious threat in the AFC South.
