Hall of Fame running back Tony Dorsett offered his congratulations to Tennessee Titans star Derrick Henry after tying an NFL record with a 99-yard rushing touchdown in the 30-9 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Henry joined Dorsett as the only players to record a touchdown of that length in NFL history, with the former Dallas Cowboys playmaker earning his own 99-yard rush all the way back in 1983.

The touchdown was one of four for Henry on the night, which allowed him to break the Titans' franchise record with 238 yards on the ground.

That led to Dorsett being one of many to praise Henry for his incredible effort on one of the best rushing plays in the history of the league.

Henry's breakout performance seemingly came out of nowhere as he's struggled to find a lot of carries this season. But there's no doubt that this type of game will help him earn the confidence of the coaching staff moving forward.

With the Titans earning the win against their divisional rival, they now move to 7-6 on the season with the hope of still securing a playoff bid.

Tennessee is looking to get to the postseason for the second straight year after picking up a win against the Kansas City Chiefs last season before eventually losing to the New England Patriots.

Henry and company will return to action in Week 15 and look to keep their hot streak going when they take on the New York Giants.
