Even with Tom Brady leading the way, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers offense has been hit or miss this season. With that being the case, the Bucs need a new face to step up with running back Ronald Jones missing some time.

On the daily Locked On Bucs podcast, James Yarcho and David Harrison discuss the name that could help with Tom Brady get the offense kicking.

Yarcho: First up, rookie running back Keyshawn Vaughn. Should he get more snaps on Saturday? I am going to start things off by saying yes. He should absolutely get more snaps. Look, Ronald Jones III looks like he is going to be out. Leonard Fournette again showed a couple of flashes in runs but by in large seemed ineffective especially early on in the game. Keyshawn Vaughn has the second-highest yard per carry in the running room.

He has got 4.3 yards per carry. Fournette is at 3.9, Shady is at 3.1, you have to continue to give him opportunities. So if the Buccaneers are in a position where they can continue to run the ball and they are running it effectively against the subpar Lions defense and this Lions team has a whole, why not continue to give Keyshawn Vaughn opportunities to because let’s say you go into the postseason and Ronald Jones is still is not fit to go.

You are going to have to utilize Vaughn. You need to get him some more in-game action, continue to get him more comfortable in the NFL offense and things should continue to get better from there. So yes, I think Vaughn needs more of an opportunity to run the ball and to potentially catch the ball (from Tom Brady), which none of the running backs other than Ronald Jones seem to be able to do effectively.
