Dele Alli will make his return to North London but Tottenham manager Antonio Conte isn't worried about him inflicting any damage.

“I don’t remember a player that when he went away, came back with a great spirit of revenge,” Conte said. “Honestly, I don’t remember one. During my coaching, I always try to be honest with the players and give all the players the possibility to show me that they deserve to play. I don’t remember a player that had their revenge with me. What happens usually is that when players went away they went down, not up.”

The Hotspurs sent Alli to Everton back in January on deadline day. The deal could eventually be worth more than 40 million Euros.

Alli established himself as a key part of the England squad and was described as the best 21-year-old in the world by Mauricio Pochettino. Since joining Everton, the midfielder has made four apperances off the bench.

Alli has fallen off after signing a big contract in 2018. After inking the deal, he has scored a measly 19 goals with only 13 occuring in the EPL in the last four years.

Tottenham currently sits at seventh on the English Premier League table with Everton all the way down at 17th. The Hotspurs are roaring into the matchup as they defeated Leeds United 4-0.

Everton faces Tottenham at 3 PM ET in what is sure to be an intense matchup. Alli will be looking to prove the haters wrong and maybe even finding the back of the net to prove his old manager wrong and help Everton get out of the relegation battle it has found itself in.
