Israel Adesanya defended his Middleweight title belt at UFC 276 with a victory against Jared Cannonier. While Adesanya earned the win, his overall performance was rather lackluster. Among those critical of the performance was actor Chris Pratt, who gave his opinion on the bout during a television segment during the post-fight coverage. After hearing Pratt's comments on his performance, Adesanya took to Twitter with a savage reply, throwing major shade at the Jurassic World star.
Good morning. 😊

Adesanya absolutely got the upper hand in this dispute, reminding Pratt that his opinion holds no value, considering Izzy is the one in the octagon, and the actor is nothing more than a fan of his craft. “The Last Stylebender” trolled Pratt with a clip from the movie Wanted, during which James McAvoy smashes him across the face with a keyboard.
Pratt is a big MMA fan, but he was underwhelmed by the performance from the main event over the weekend. While Adesanya got the job done in terms of improving his record, the fight left much to be desired from a fans' perspective, as he put on a rather safe display in order to defend his title, rather than seeking the wow factor that he's shown in the past.

Clearly, Adesanya isn't too bothered by what the actor had to say about his showing at UFC 276, though he did take some time to clap back with his savage tweet.
Adesanya's victory over Cannonier improves his overall MMA record to 23-1-0. He's been linked with Alex Pereira as a potential next fight in the Middleweight division.
