Tabatha Ricci wins by Decision (+110) vs. Tecia Pennington

Tabatha Ricci comes into this fight following a tough loss in Madison Square Garden to Loopy Godinez in a tight back-and-forth contest. She showed her grit and ability to keep walking through punishment to find her own offense. Tecia Pennington is a similar fighter to Ricci in the sense that both are very athletic strikers and have an array of combinations to throw from their feet. Ricci is also newer to MMA than a veteran like Pennington, but she seems to be hitting her peak in terms of cardio and output from her striking.

Tecia Pennington is a very to put away on the feet, but her offensive wrestling hasn't been much of a threat in her last few fights. Both women are virtually the same in terms of their builds, but we have to give the edge to Ricci in her fighting prime. She strikes at a slightly higher rate and she's extremely athletic on the ground with her grappling. While it may be tough for Ricci to find the finish, expect her to be one step ahead of Tecia Pennington throughout a close fight. The odds favor this fight seeing a decision, so let's side with the betting favorite to win on the judges' scorecards.

Terrance McKinney wins by KO/TKO/DQ (+385) vs. Esteban Ribovics

Since arriving to the UFC, Terrance McKinney has felt some of the highest-highs with his viral knockouts over opponents, and some of the lowest-lows in being knocked-out himself. Now with eight fights under his belt, he's had time to learn and grow from mistakes while taking the best aspects from his wins. Esteban Ribovics is just two fights into his UFC career and has yet to really feel the tribulations of fighting in the big show. Both men are extremely talented strikers and with the under of 1.5 favored in this fight to -220, we can expect a quick and frantic flurry of action from these two.

It's worth noting during this matchup that Terrance McKinney has a 4.5-inch reach advantage over Ribovics. With how wild these two may be swinging in the pocket, those few inches of reach could make all the difference in McKinney landing a knockout shot. Still, he's the slight underdog and Ribovics is definitely the more technical boxer. For the value, we'll take Terrance McKinney to find the chin and pick up his sixth win in the UFC.

Joaquim Buckley wins by Decision (+425) vs. Nursulton Ruziboev

Joaquim Buckley has been vocal for months about having him substitute as the headliner for this UFC St. Louis Main Card and with how much he loves to rep St. Louis outside of the cage, he's going to be hyped beyond belief in front of this crowd. His task won't be an easy on by any stretch as he takes on the 34-8 Nursulton Ruziboev. Ruziboev has won 10-straight fights, but will be making just his third appearance in the UFC. Buckley certainly has the advantage in octagon-time at the highest level, so it'll be interesting to see how he handles the pressure game of Ruziboev.

Of his 34 wins, Ruziboev has finished 32 inside of the distance, finishing his first two UFC fights. Still, Joaquim Buckley is a massive step-up in competition and Ruziboev tends to fade in the later rounds, losing six fights by decision. If Buckley can survive the ground-and-pound attack, he should be able to ride this fight into the later rounds and turn the tide in his favor. Ruziboev is extremely tough to put away, but I believe Buckley will outclass him and ride to a decision win here. Let's take a chance with the +425 odds.

Derrick Lewis by KO/TKO/DQ (-145) vs. Rodrigo Nascimento

Derrick Lewis has been having his ups-and-downs over the last five fights, but he's also been having to face some of the best heavyweights in the world during the process. While he doesn't want to be fighting five-round fights any longer, his experience in Main Events like this will always count for something. His opponent is a skilled boxer and likes to work his striking from range. He doesn't typically rely too heavily on either his boxing or wrestling, so Derrick Lewis could keep this fight standing and within knockout range.

Derrick Lewis tends to struggle against very athletic heavyweights who can move around him and wrestle him to the ground. While Rodrigo Nascimento is skilled in both areas, he's not very physically imposing and come weigh-in time, Lewis could turn out to be the “fitter” of the two fighters. His cardio has looked solid over the last few fights, but he'll still be wanting to get out of the cage in a hurry. Let's ride the knockout prop for the Black Beast as he adds another to his historic total.
