Joanna Jedrzejczyk is an interesting person to ask her take on Colby Covington vs Jorge Masvidal at UFC 272. She has trained with both but she famously doesn't like Covington.

The former UFC strawweight champion is still able to appreciate Colby Covington's abilities as a fighter though. It's just she can't help but stick with her American Top Team teammate, Jorge Masvidal, for this one.

Probably, it’s going to be one of the biggest fights of 2022, and Jorge Masvidal has this ATT nation behind his back, but Colby is hell of a fighter, very dedicated. I remember them both training here. They used to do training together for one-and-a-half hour and do some extra training together after. So they both are very dedicated, very talented. But I feel like Jorge Masvidal is going to surprise like he did in the fight with Ben Askren or Darren Till, for example.”

Joanna Jedrzejczyk likes Jorge Masvidal's excellent boxing and is confident he will surprise everyone like in the huge upsets over Darren Till and Ben Askren. UFC 272 goes down on March 5 and features Masvidal and Covington as the main event. The card has many fun matchups sprinkled all over it.
