Roxanne Modafferi is set to fight Casey O'Neill at UFC 271 in 2022. It appears that will be the last fight in the UFC before she calls it a career.
Roxanne Modafferi is a pioneer in women's MMA and has fought for decades. It appears the last decade she will compete in is the 2020's.
She posted the announcement on her Instagram page. The announcement came very quickly after the fight against Casey O'Neill was announced for UFC 271.

Roxanne Modafferi made her MMA debut back in 2003 in Japan. She would win the bout via submission and go undefeated in her first five fights.

Roxanne Modafferi fought in Strikeforce, Invicta FC, and many other organizations in the world. She also competed on The Ultimate Fighter two times in 2013 and 2017.
Her last time competing on the show saw her earn a UFC contract and finish out her career in the premier organization. She would on to fight eight times with a ninth fight set to round things out at UFC 271.
Casey O'Neill will look to keep her hype train going and spoil the retirement part at UFC 271. Roxanne Modafferi is a craft veteran that has shut down many prospects including Maycee Barber and Antonina Shevchenko.
