Lerone Murphy was taking on Makwan Amirkhani in a high-level matchup to help both men advance in their careers. The Englishman was the man to capitalize on the opportunity.

The KO was lost in the shuffle as UFC 267 had many storylines and some surprising upsets. The main card saw some bigs win for Khamzat Chimaev and Islam Makhachev, which help bury the story.

The first round of the contest went to Makwan Amirkhani as he was able to use his wrestling to gain the advantage. It was this game plan that led to his loss.

Lerone Murphy has been excellent in his run in the UFC so far. The Englishman is building a solid resume and has beaten some good names at featherweight.
