Vanessa Bryant honored her late daughter Gianna with a beautiful “Mambacita” tattoo on her arm, making Gigi a permanent part of her physically. The wife of late Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant revealed the tattoo on her Instagram.
Vanessa also posted a couple of videos of her eldest daughter Natalia also getting some ink. It's hard to see what they actually were, but perhaps she also got ones honoring her 13-year-old sister and her late father.
It's hard to imagine just how difficult it still must be for Vanessa and the rest of the Bryant kids to go on without their beloved Mamba and Mambacita. Nonetheless, Vanessa has proved to be strong for the sake of her remaining three children, who will now grow up without their dad.
It has been nearly 14 months since the helicopter tragedy that took the lives of Kobe Bryant along with Gianna and seven other people. Still, the wounds of losing Kobe and Gianna are fresh in our hearts.
People all over the world continue to honor and remember Kobe. Tributes, such as murals, artworks, and even tattoos for the 5-time NBA champion still pour in from all over the globe. That just goes to show just how big of an impact Kobe Bryant had on millions of people from different walks of life.
Just as Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James said in his tribute speech for Kobe, the Mamba may already be “out” of our lives, but he will definitely be “not forgotten.”
