Jerry Hughes is known for his pass-rushing, but he showed off his ability to run the ball against the Denver Broncos on Saturday. To extend the lead for the Buffalo Bills even further, Hughes recovered a fumble and flashed his elusiveness while scoring a touchdown.

After Drew Lock faked a handoff to Phillip Lindsay, Tre'Davious White of the Bills came off of the edge on a disguised blitz. White was able to strip the ball from Lock, allowing Hughes to scoop up the ball and give Buffalo a 22-point lead early in the third quarter.

When Hughes picked up the ball, he looked like a play in the Madden video game, running backward and sideways until there was a hole to run through. He would somehow score a touchdown, proving that he's more than just an edge rusher.

Coming into Saturday's game, Hughes had 4.5 sacks, four tackles for loss, 11 quarterback hits, and two forced fumbles. His fumble recovery touchdown was the second touchdown of his career — his first since the 2014 season. Also, he would record his first career interception against the New York Jets earlier this season.

Ever since he joined the Bills in 2013, Hughes has established himself as a mainstay on Buffalo's defense. In his first seven seasons with the Bills, Hughes has yet to win an AFC East title due to the New England Patriots dominating the division for two decades.

However, with a win on Saturday night, the Bills will clinch the AFC East for the first time since 1995. At the same time, Hughes showed that he might be the secret weapon that can unlock Buffalo's struggling rushing attack.
