The Kentucky Wildcats have one of the most passionate fan bases in the country. Oh, and its football fan base is pretty fine, too.
Off to a 3-1 start on the season, Big Blue Nation has some real reason to cheer. However, over the weekend, a Kentucky cheerleader apparently had reason to go bonkers after the Wildcats gave up a touchdown.
Give her credit. She was going after a defense that apparently had some blown coverage, missed assignments, and a billion other things that went wrong. Her passion isn't misguided. It is just straight, unfiltered get-some. It is weird, though, to see a cheerleader do something other than do the cheers and have a generic smile on their face.
I'll be 100 percent honest. I really don't understand the point of it. Not the girls performing the acts of excitement on the sideline. I mean, how do they smile so much? Furthermore, how does one be a fan of Kentucky football and be able to smile so much?
I kid. I swear it. Please don't murder me Big Blue Nation. I love you. I think John Calipari is better than Coach K (I am serious).
During this wonderful era of Mark Stoops, Kentucky has managed to win a grand total of 22 games since 2013. If the hoops program won only 22 games in a single season, it would be considered a monumental failure.
There is good news, though! So far this season, Kentucky has an overall record of 3-1. The most amount of wins Stoops has acquired while manning the help for the Wildcats in a single season is seven. That personal best seems to be in danger.
