The Minnesota Vikings have an intriguing dilemma on their hand concerning their quarterback situation heading into the NFL offseason with each of their quarterbacks on the roster set to become free agents. This has put it at the forefront of priorities for the front office to resolve over the next few weeks.

Up to this point, there hasn't been much of an indication of what direction the Vikings are going under center next season. According to Sid Hartman of the Minneapolis Star Tribune, new offensive coordinator John Defilippo has recently revealed that the team is at amid the process of figuring who they want to be their starting quarterback in 2018 and possibly beyond that.

“Right now we’re going to get it fixed, I know that,” DeFilippo said. “It’s just a matter of choosing the right person to fit our culture and what we’re trying to do offensively. There’s no doubt that [General Manager] Rick Spielman, coach [MikeZimmer and myself will put our heads together and make the best decision that we think is the best for the Minnesota Vikings. That is the approach we’re going to take, and we’re in the middle of that process right now.”

It is a collective decision that Defilippo along with entire front office along with head coach Mike Zimmer are each involved in helping make this offseason. The Vikings are in a tough position of having to choose between three quarterbacks that all have past experience as starters.

Case Keenum has made the strongest case coming off a career-best season where he stepped in as the starter and led the franchise to their first NFC Championship game appearance in eight years. Meanwhile, both Teddy Bridgewater and Sam Bradford have each shown flashes of what they can do with the team when healthy. The only concern is that each is still working their way back from injuries that prevented them from taking the field for almost all of the 2017 NFL season.

Things could quickly shift into high gear on this front with a possible decision in the near future with the free agency period now less than a month away.
