The Minnesota Vikings love to see a playmaker give the Green Bay Packers the business. Stefon Diggs is doing his best to keep the tradition of wide receivers burning Green Bay defenders going.

On “Monday Night Football,” the 26-year-old wide receiver reeled in a touchdown reception against the Packers as they play for supremacy at the NFC North. Diggs' second-quarter score not only put the team ahead of the Packers, but it also matched a record that was set by the legendary Randy Moss.

Diggs tied Moss' record of seven straight games with touchdowns against the Packers, per ESPN Stats & Info.

Moreover, it shows just how good of a season Diggs is enjoying. Entering the bout with Green Bay, he had 1,073 receiving yards and five touchdowns on 60 receptions.

The Vikings' coaching staff points to the superb connection between Diggs and Kirk Cousins for his accomplishments this season.

“We’re hitting some explosive plays,” coach Mike Zimmer said, per Chris Tomasson of the Twin Cities Pioneer Press. “We didn’t get many last year. Because of the run and the play action, Kirk (Cousins) throws a really good deep ball, and (Diggs) can catch. He’s got acceleration to get separation.”

The Vikings lead the Packers 10-9 entering halftime of “Monday Night Football.” They'll need to continue their leading ways if they want to win the hotly contested NFC North. If they do so, they can ascend up the ranks of the playoff standings and, in turn, receive a home game, no matter if it's by way of a bye or not.
