The Golden State Warriors have put the NBA on notice in the opening round of the playoffs. Jumping out to a 3-0 lead in the series, the Warriors have looked dominant in the series. The Nuggets clearly lack the talent to match up with the Warriors' deep roster and effective system. Denver gave their best chance in Game 3 at home but was still unable to secure a win. The two teams will square off in Denver once again in Game 4 with the Warriors set on going for the sweep.

Warriors-Nuggets Game 4 Predictions

Warriors win by double-digits

It is demoralizing for a team to give their best effort in a game and it still not be enough to secure the win. In Game 3, the Nuggets even held a lead with 3:20 left to play but were unable to come out on top. While the Nuggets surely will not roll over in Game 4, there is little optimism for changes they can make to increase their chance at a win.

The Nuggets currently sit in the demoralizing 3-0 hole from which no team has ever come back. In fact, only 3 of the 143 teams have ever been able to push the series to seven games after losing the first three matchups. The shorthanded Nuggets simply do not have the talent to keep with Golden State, so expect the Warriors to close this series out comfortably. The Warriors won each of the first two games by 15 points or more, and expect them to do the same on enemy territory.

Steph Curry hits 5 three-pointers

The Warriors may have a comfortable lead at 3-0 in the series but expect them to keep their foot on the gas. One of the primary reasons for this is Steph Curry is still finding his stride in the offense. Curry has been sidelined since March 16th with a foot injury and missed the Warriors' final 11 games of the regular season. His return to the lineup has been effective but he has been on a minutes limit through the first three games.

It is scary to think the Warriors could look even better with Curry during firing on all cylinders. The superstar saw a notable increase in his minutes in Game 3 after playing under 23 minutes in Games 1 and 2. If Curry continues to build off the 30:45 of game time he received last game, expect the production to follow. The former MVP knocked down 5 of his 10 three-point attempts in game 2. Look for the Warriors to run more sets for their star and attempt to get him back to 100% before the next round.

Draymond Green gets triple-double

Draymond Green is never a guy worried about his own statistics, but the Warriors are a much more fun to watch when he is playing to the best of his abilities. The four-time all-star plays an integral role on this Warriors team. His high IQ is put on display as a passer and screener in the Warriors' offense. Draymond also deserves a ton of credit for his defensive effort on Nikola Jokic this series.

While Draymond is content with doing the little things, it is time he capitalizes on statistics in Game 4. Look for the Michigan State product to run the offense and ferociously attack the boards. Green has tallied 31 triple-doubles in his career and the Warriors are 30-1 during these games. The former Defensive Player of the Year is currently averaging 8 points, 8.3 assists, and 4.6 rebounds per game this series. He will need a slight uptick in each of these categories but is certainly within the ballpark. A Draymond Green triple-double would also certainly fill him with a swagger that will last the rest of the postseason.

The first three games of the playoffs have been close to ideal for the Warriors. Look for them to build off the momentum they have already established and sweep the Nuggets. Golden State will continue to look to get Steph Curry involved to get closer to the team's maximum potential. Rest is always a priority in the postseason so the Warriors will be looking to get maximum time before the next round and end the Nuggets' season in Game 4.
