While his numbers may pale in comparison to the other superstars on the Golden State Warriors' unmatched roster, Andre Iguodala still remains to be one of the most important players on the squad. Getting the 33-year-old back in the Finals last season, following a handful of missed games in the Playoffs definitely gave the Dubs a boost.

Recently, Iguodala shared some very interesting details about his injury. According to the highly-durable veteran, his knee injury had a rather subjective nature.

“I had a spider fracture,” the 2015 Finals MVP told Mark Medina of the Bay Area News Group. “It was like a spider web with cracks. It depends on whose eyes were looking at it. If you wrote that, someone could say, ‘No it wasn't.' But the person who said it was, said it was that. It's one of those things.”

Iguodala went on to explain the effect the injury had on him, both physically and psychologically.

“The injury kind of bothered me because there was a lot going on behind closed doors that was bothering me,” he said. “I hadn't missed a playoff game my entire career. It isn't about waiting around. I know what it was. A lot of people knew what it was. But I just went along with it.

Iguodala seemed to imply that there was more to this situation than meets the eye. However, the former All-Star refused to go into the juicy details of the controversy.

“I don't want to throw anybody under the bus,” Iguodala answered. “Everybody has the same goal at the end of the day.”

This just goes to show the level of professionalism both Iguodala and the Warriors organization operate at. Both parties were able to disregard any untoward distractions and firmly kept their sights on the task at hand.
