No player in the NBA is safe from utter embarrassment. While most gaffes of bravado are committed by fledgling youngsters who have yet to be knocked down a peg, once in a while a tenured veteran gets implicated in some foolishness. On Wednesday night, the list now includes Andre Iguodala of the Golden State Warriors.

During a fastbreak sequence for the Warriors, Andre Iguodala gave out a gorgeous no-look dime right past Suns point guard Chris Paul. Iggy found Otto Porter Jr. uncontested under the basket for an automatic two points. Or so he thought.

The Warriors forward trotted back down on defense with his hand raised in celebration for his no-look dish. Iguodala, however, also didn't look to see that Porter flubbed the layup. Check out the hilarious scene below:

The play ended up being the assist version of Nick Young's hilariously botched three-pointer when the Shaqtin legend raised his hands in celebration right before his shot trickled out of the basket.

Andre Iguodala may not have many more years left in the league, but he's undoubtedly going to take extra precautions next time before hyping himself up to the crowd. The Warriors veteran just can't take any chances.
