Andrew Wiggins is thrilled the Minnesota Timberwolves traded him to the Golden State Warriors and not anywhere else.

Wiggins, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft out of Kansas, believes his time with the Timberwolves was up and that the Warriors are the perfect organization for him moving forward:

Wiggins is putting up 20.1 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.8 assists in nine games with the Warriors. In a season to forget for the Dubs, the least Steve Kerr and his group can hope for is chemistry to be built between Stephen Curry, Wiggins and Draymond Green.

Curry will make his return to the lineup on Thursday against the Toronto Raptors. Everyone in Golden State is curious to see how Curry and Wiggins are going to look together on the court.

After going to the NBA Finals five straight seasons and winning three titles, the Warriors have been humbled this season. They have the worst record in the NBA and will miss the postseason for the first time in the Kerr era.

However, the Warriors figure to be playoff contenders again next season once Curry, Wiggins, Green and All-Star shooting guard Klay Thompson take the floor together.
