The Golden State Warriors are one of the latest teams hit hard by COVID-19. Andrew Wiggins, Damion Lee, Jordan Poole, Moses Moody and Draymond Green have all recently entered the NBA's health and safety protocols. But the end of Monday evening's practice came with some heartwarming news: Wiggins and Poole both got cleared from the health and safety protocol list.

COVID-19 is a battle everyone is fighting, and the decision to get vaccinated or not is an ongoing debate for many. Wiggins was reluctant to get the vaccine but received it before the season began. Catching COVID-19 for a second time makes him one of the few who has dealt with the virus with and without the vaccine.

“The first time I got it, it was a little bit worse. Neither of them was nothing crazy. Nothing was severe when I had it,” Wiggins told ClutchPoints.

Andrew Wiggins held out on getting the vaccine as long as he could. Before, the city mandates heavily influenced him to get vaccinated to play in home games this season. Being vaccinated has been a massive reward for the Warriors, but Wiggins isn't thrilled about it.

Although Wiggins cleared the health and safety protocols, it's unsure if he will play Tuesday against the Denver Nuggets. Steve Kerr said his status is probable, so everyone will have to wait and see when the time comes.

The Warriors will be without Draymond Green for a while, so getting Andrew Wiggins and Jordan Poole back couldn't have come at a better time. The faithful Dubs fans will be excited to see them back on the floor, and they can't wait either.
