Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry joined Dr. Anthony Fauci on Thursday in an Instagram Live feed to discuss the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Several notable names joined in on the stream, including his former teammate, Andre Iguodala, Justin Bieber, Common, and former U.S. President Barack Obama.

Barack Obama's message to viewers of the stream was straight to the point, asking everyone to do their part and listen to science officials.

“Listen to the science,” Obama wrote during the Warriors star's stream with Dr. Fauci. “Do your part and take care of each other. Thank you, Steph and Dr. Fauci.”

During the interview, the Warriors talent asked Dr. Fauci to elaborate on the intricacies of the coronavirus, such as how it's spread. Dr. Fauci also pointed out the differences between the COVID-19 and a typical flu.

Earlier this month, the NBA announced that it would be suspending the 2019-20 regular season due to growing concerns surrounding the coronavirus outbreak. At this point, it's not clear when play might resume, though some have suggested that the campaign could pick up sometime in July or August. Ultimately, though, health officials will have the final say.

The Warriors have struggled to find a rhythm this season, as their Western Conference-worst 15-50 overall record can attest. Injuries played a role, including those to Curry (broken hand) and Klay Thompson (left ACL). Curry has recovered, while Thompson, who notes that he should be ready to go by September or October, is still rehabilitating.
