It took DeMarcus Cousins only 36 minutes of floor time with the Golden State Warriors to witness NBA history happen right before his very eyes, watching teammate Klay Thompson erupt for a game-high 44 points and can 10 of his 11 three-point attempts against the Los Angeles Lakers to tie the NBA record in consecutive makes (10) and efficiency.

Boogie was at a loss for words once he was informed of Thompson's ridiculous numbers.

“It was 10 straight? S***, that's impressive,” said Cousins, only to be told it was the first time a player had started a game 10-for-10 from deep. “That's the first time ever? Damn, it's like a new record every day, ain't it?”

DeMarcus Cousins played a part in that record-setting night, being willing to kick out to the perimeter and setting screens for Klay Thompson to get wide-open looks — including the instance below that resulted in a four-point play, as Cousins was bumped into the ground when setting the pick.

Cousins struggled from the floor, only hitting 2-of-9 field goals, but he made the most of his 21 minutes, scoring eight points, grabbing nine rebounds, and dishing out five assists before resting in the fourth quarter with the game put away early.

The big man had expressed his willingness to play alongside Thompson from the time that he signed with the Warriors, but now he's also taking part in history right alongside him.
