Golden State Warriors big man DeMarcus Cousins is never one to back away from talking a big game in front of the press.

Following the Warriors' huge road win over the Houston Rockets on Wednesday, the media was eager to receive some insights from Cousins, who finished with a season-high 27 points.

Instead of focusing on the game at hand, though, some reporters decided to ask Golden State's starting center about the drama surrounding his team. In typical Boogie fashion, Cousins replied with a rather snarky quip that drew a few chuckles from the crowd.

It's fitting how a timeless soap opera title perfectly encapsulates the state of the defending champs this very moment.

The NBA had set the stage for entertaining television, and it's the Warriors who hold the set's world in their hands as virtually every other team revolves around their dominant presence. Golden State definitely isn't lacking in drama as Cousins mentioned either, which makes the team all the more appealing to everyone tuning in.

It would've been funnier if DeMarcus Cousins was able to reel off a few ‘As the World Turns' cast members worth comparing to himself and his teammates in real life. Then again, the aformentioned episodic TV show isn't necessarily a program that NBA players would've constantly watched even during their childhood.

Perhaps, DMC should've thought about drawing comparisons between the Warriors and a more male-centic soap opera instead: professional wrestling. After all, there's never a dull storyline in the WWE, and the company did already have a Boogeyman character from the past that Cousins could even play the role of to disturbing yet hilarious results.
