Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green hit the showers early on Thursday night after getting himself tossed out the ball game against the Los Angeles Lakers at Chase Center.

With under six minutes left before the halftime break, an enraged Green went after officials after he was sent sprawling to the hardwood following a hard screen from Lakers center Dwight Howard. The non-call infuriated the temperamental forward and mouthed off at the officials as he got back on his feet.

His temper tantrum got him two quick technical fouls which warranted an automatic ejection.

The Lakers bench, meanwhile, seemed to have a field day following Green's ejection. Cameras caught Lakers superstar LeBron James, who was in street clothes on Thursday, with a huge smirk on his face.

He tried to hide behind Troy Daniels, who also appeared to be delighted by Green's disqualification.

The Lakers had a slim 54-52 lead at halftime. Green had two points, one rebound, and four assists in 10 minutes of action before getting ejected.

It has truly been one frustrating season for Green and the Dubs, who has been used to greatness over the last few seasons. Green remained as the only All-Star for the Warriors team decimated by injuries to superstars Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.

The team also traded away D'Angelo Russell to the Minnesota Timberwolves before the Trade Deadline earlier this month.

Without the Splash Brothers to draw in the defense, Green has struggled mightily this year. He is notching just 8.2 points, 6.3 rebounds, 6.2 assists, and 1.4 steals in 42 appearances this season. The three-time All-Star is only hitting 38.7 percent of his field goals and 27.9 percent of his triples.

The Dubs still hold the worst record in the entire league at 12-46 and are currently experiencing a dreadful seven-game slide.
