There's no doubt that Stephen Curry is the greatest shooter of all time. His recent record-breaking three-point feat in Madison Square Garden serves as a clear testament to this fact. At this point in his career, one could even argue that the Golden State Warriors superstar has emerged as the younger generation's Michael Jordan.

Dubs teammate Draymond Green definitely agrees with this notion. According to the former Defensive Player of the Year winner, kids these days see Steph as their own version of the great Michael Jordan (h/t Warriors on Twitter):

“You see these young kids come in and it's like Steph is they MJ,” Green said. “You know, like everybody wanna shoot the long three. You walk in the gym and you see little kids, f—kin slangin' that thang from like 40 feet out. But that's the Steph Curry and Klay Thompson effect.”

Fair point from Green here. You no longer see young kids in the gym copying MJ's moves on the court. As Dray expressed in his statement above, the younger generation would much rather heave 40-footers as opposed to mastering their mid-range game. Such is the effect of Stephen Curry on the game of basketball.

In terms of his achievements on the court, Curry is also looking to close in on MJ's record this season when it comes to career championships. The Warriors have emerged as one of the favorites to go all the way this season as Steph sets his eyes on a fourth NBA title. He's still quite a distance away from Jordan's six championships, though.
