The dust hasn’t quite completely settled yet following the strange locker room incident between Golden State Warriors stars Draymond Green and Kevin Durant, but at least the team’s players are starting to get along just fine with each other again.

That’s despite the Warriors’ lopsided 107-86 loss on the road at the hands of the Houston Rockets on Thursday, which was also Green’s first action back after getting suspended for a game due to his dust-up with Durant last Monday.

According to Green, the vibe on the Warriors’ bench while James Harden and company were pummeling Golden State on the floor was good, even saying that they were having fun mocking Stephen Curry with their jokes, via Anthony Slater of The Athletic.

Perhaps still feeling the emotional toll of the said incident, the Warriors played without their usual energy against Houston. They shot just 42.1 percent from the field and sank only four of their 18 3-point attempts. It’s also just the second time this season that they scored fewer than 100 points and the first time they failed to touch 90 points.

But at least they were able to overcome any awkwardness to have fun with each other on the bench, which should go a long way in keeping the team's rapport in check.

So far this 2018-19 campaign, the Warriors are averaging 118.6 points on 50.4 field goal shooting percentage and 41.4 percent from deep.

Assuming that the climate in the Warriors’ locker room will get restored soon to its usual levels, it’s going to be just a matter of time before the defending champions get back into their winning ways.

The Warriors will look to pick the pieces up this Saturday in another Texas city when they take on the Dallas Mavericks.
