More than a few NBA personalities came out with their own strong takes about the tragic events that went down on Wednesday, as Donald Trump supporters stormed the United States Capitol in Washington D.C. Being one of the most outspoken players in the league, Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green had a thing or two to say, as the former Defensive Player of the Year sent a NSFW message against the rioters.

Here's Green with some unsurprisingly strong comments pertaining to the violence that went down at the Capitol on Wednesday:

Draymond Green did not mince words:

ā€œIt just goes to show the policing system was built against Black and Brown people. And that's the reason those reactions are different. That's the reason someone can walk or run or bust their way through or whatever into the Speaker of the House office and put their feet on the desk like they're sitting at home on their couch.ā€

Draymond Green's rant did not end there. He went on to express how disgusted he is with how the ā€œprotestersā€ are portrayed in the media:

ā€œStorming into a building and busting our windows and carrying podiums and all that other stuff, that's not a protest, that's a terrorist attack. And so stop describing those people the same way you describe someone who just stand there and make a chant and say, ā€˜We want justice. We want peace.' Stop using the same word. It's disrespectful, it's ridiculous and it's shameful. To keep calling them protesters. They're not fā€”ing protesters. They're fā€”ing terrorists.ā€

That's a very strong take from the Warriors forward, and it will undoubtedly prove to be an unpopular opinion for some.

Nevertheless, we have to commend Draymond Green for speaking his mind here ā€” as we have all come to expect from him.
