It’ll be a festive atmosphere ahead of the Golden State Warriors’ season and home-opener against the Houston Rockets. Aside from the raising of yet another banner for this year's championship, the Warriors will also have former players representing their previous four championship-winning teams.

Carl Steward of the Bay Area News Group reported that former big man Festus Ezeli will have the honor of representing the Warriors’ 2015 title-winning team.

Ezeli spent three seasons with the Warriors after being drafted by the team in the first round, back in 2012. The Nigerian big man averaged 4.2 points and 4.3 rebounds in 170 games for the Warriors over those three seasons, including 4.4 points and 3.4 rebounds in that 2015 campaign.

Ezeli is currently a free agent after failing to play a single game for the Portland Trail Blazers last season due to persistent knee issues. Given all those knee problems, which also plagued him during his time in Golden State, it’s fair to wonder at this point whether his playing days may be over at 27 years old.

Regardless of whether or not he chooses to retire, Ezeli already has his ring. And now, he'll get the chance to step onto the court at Oracle Arena and once again relive that crowning achievement of his career by representing the Warriors' 2015 championship team.
