Earlier this season, Golden State Warriors forwards Kevin Durant and Draymond Green were involved in a dustup that became a cause for concern for the team. The Dubs, who are gunning for their third straight title, looked like a team that was about to implode because of the tense situation involving both players.

A few weeks later, Durant and Green seem to have moved on from the fracas. Their on-court chemistry have improved and they have complimented each other on multiple occasions during post-game interviews.

While most people were worried that the beef between Durant and Green would end up sabotaging the Warriors' season, team owner Joe Lacob said in an interview with The Athletic's Tim Kawakami that he was never concerned about it.

“Not really. Stuff like that happens on basketball teams,” Lacob said. “Those guys are both pretty emotional guys, so it blew up. We all know what happened. No surprise. I think it’s healed. And I don’t think it’s an issue at this point.”

“Was I surprised that it happened? I guess, a little. But not shocked by any means. Stuff like that does happen. We’ve had remarkably few issues between players. We’re pretty much a family. These players get along better than pretty much any team you’ll ever want to see. We have to consider ourselves lucky that our players are who they are.”

Lacob's confidence about the team and their ability to resolve player conflicts is a testament to the great culture within the Warriors organization. And with that issue way behind them, the Dubs are now solely focused on winning a championship.
