With all the success the Golden State Warriors have had the past three seasons, their players’ popularity has also grown. In fact, a number of Warriors, even the non-All-Star ones, are being sought to be the face of different ad campaigns, as their star power help establish brands and push product sales.

United Airlines became the latest to hire some Dubs players to represent them, as Nick Young and JaVale McGee recently starred in a promotional video for the company. They were given the opportunity to be part of the support crew in the airport and even had some hilarious moments in the clip. The two also appeared to have a lot of fun experiencing how it’s like to direct traffic near the runway, as well as announce that one flight will be leaving on schedule.

It’s definitely not every day that two members of the NBA’s defending champions try some airport shenanigans, but it gave travelers and the airline crew a chance to interact with them and see for themselves that they are also just like any ordinary people despite their stature.

For the players, it may also inspire them to play better knowing that they are lucky to be doing what they love for a living, and continue to work hard, as they are well-known wherever they go to.

It may seem like all fun and games during the all-access video, but both Young and McGee are expected to turn serious once again as the Dubs play against the New York Knicks on Monday. They are now in the stretch run of the season, and being the veterans that they are, they understand how important it is to finish the regular season strong, as the momentum they’ll have could be the difference between winning and losing in the playoffs.
