Since joining the Golden State Warriors, Kevin Durant has been the subject of a ton of sports jokes. And in a recent post, Durant played a similar type of joke. But this time, he played it on himself.

Bleacher Report took a screenshot of Durant's latest Instagram story. Like most NBA players, he's locked into the NFL action. He expressed his admiration for Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald, adding that he would join the team right now.

The post comes in after a series of episodes which featured Durant fighting back at his haters. As always, they criticized Durant for joining the then 73-win Warriors squad, noting that it's the weakest move by a superstar of his caliber. In their exchanges, Durant outrightly defends himself, saying that it's a decision aimed for his personal development.

Though it was an attempt at putting an end to all the hate and drama, the mere fact that Durant responded added more fuel to the fire. More arm-chair critics lashed out on him, slipping in direct messages to let Durant know that not everyone was happy with his decision.

But with Kevin Durant's recent post, it seems that he's proven that he's content with what he did almost three years ago. There is no tinge of guilt in joining the best regular season team in the history of the league. Though some say that he took the easiest and fastest route to success, as Durant said to one of his critics, nothing this good ever comes easy.
