Former Golden State Warriors superstar Kevin Durant may no longer reside in the Bay Area, but he has certainly left his mark on the city of San Francisco.
Besides helping the Warriors win two of their three championships in the last five years, Durant assisted in renovating a playground and basketball court in the city.

While Durant might not be as beloved as Warriors legends like Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green or even Andre Iguodala, he still showed that he cared deeply for the community he was a part of for three years.

Durant will always be remembered in Golden State for joining a great team and making it even greater. By leaving the city with a beautiful, refurbished basketball court, kids that grow up using that court will be further reminded of KD's legacy.
Durant leaves the Bay Area with something to prove. After Durant tore his Achilles in the 2019 NBA Finals, the Warriors ended up falling to the Toronto Raptors in six games.
Now, Durant has to show the NBA world that he can come back and still be as dominant as he used to be. Additionally, he gets a chance to prove that he can win a championship with the Brooklyn Nets where he is the undisputed leader of the team.
Durant has a long path to recovery, but he has left a lasting mark on his former team in the record books and in the community.
