Kevin Durant is attracting a lot of eyes right now, especially after deciding to sign with the Golden State Warriors and ending up winning the 2017 NBA Finals with the team.

You may have seen Durant on the court and on your TV screen, but you may soon see him more on YouTube. According to a report from CNET,  Durant and his startup Thirty Five Media just made a partnership with YouTube, with the intention of making more sports-related content for the website.

However, both parties refused to expand on the matter, such as how much money was involved and how long the deal was for.

But Kevin Durant is not exactly new to YouTube. He has an official channel where he posts workout videos, makes question-and-answer portions with his fans, and features not-so-serious shows like JaVale McGee's Parking Lot Chronicles.

The channel has almost 600,000 subscribers and has attracted 15 million views so far.

YouTube's deal with Durant's startup is just one of many examples of big companies turning to broadcast sports to get more traction to their websites.

Another example is Facebook's deal with LaVar Ball to create a reality TV show Ball in the Family. The show has already attracted more than 44 million viewers to the social media giant.

It will be interesting to see the YouTube-Durant partnership in full swing and see whether it will be just as successful as what the Ball family is doing with Facebook.
