For Golden State Warriors star shooting guard Klay Thompson, his last five games at the United Center were not very kind to him. He was able to put all of that behind him against the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday night during the Warriors' 119-112 win, as he became the first player to make at least 150 three-pointers during the 2017-18 regular season.

Entering the game versus the Bulls, Thompson was tied with Houston Rockets star guard James Harden at 145 made three-pointers made.

Unfortunately for Harden, he has had to watch the Rockets' last seven games in a suit from the bench because of a nagging hamstring injury he suffered earlier this month against the Los Angeles Lakers.

According to a tweet earlier on Wednesday afternoon from Drew Shiller of Warriors Outsiders, Thompson had five games in a row at the United Center where he did not shoot the ball very well.

However, on Wednesday night against the Bulls, Thompson was absolutely magnificent en route to a season-high 38 points on 12-of-22 shots from the field, 7-of-13 from three-point range and 7-of-9 from the charity stripe.

“I feel great. I feel healthy. I hope I can keep this up,” Thompson said after the game.

The Warriors, who have now tied a franchise record with 14 consecutive road victories, are just two short of tying the NBA all-time record set by the 1971-72 Los Angeles Lakers with 16 consecutive road wins. Golden State's next three games on the road are against the Rockets, the Utah Jazz, and the Sacramento Kings.
