Klay Thompson made a surprise appearance for the Golden State Warriors prior to tip-off of their Friday night tilt against the Toronto Raptors. The five-time All-Star was seen putting some shots up before the contest in full pre-game attire.

Here's a look at Klay throwing up a few shots on the hardcourt–something that we haven't seen from him for what now feels like an eternity:

Don't get too excited, Dub Nation. Klay Thompson is still expected to sit out the remainder of the 2020-21 season as he continues to rehab his Achilles injury. Nonetheless, seeing him put some shots up is an undeniably welcome development for Warriors fans (and for any basketball fan out there) as this falls in line with earlier reports that Klay's recovery has been on track. His rehab appears to be going well, and reports state that he is right on schedule.

Barring any unforeseen setbacks (we're all praying that there won't be any), Thompson should be good to go for Golden State's opening game next season. We will finally get to see the much-awaited reunion of the Splash Brothers on the basketball court as the Warriors looks to get back to the championship conversation come the 2021-22 season.
