At this point in his career, Klay Thompson has solidified himself as one of the greatest 3-point shooters of all time.

The Golden State Warriors marksman has one of the prettiest releases anyone has ever seen, and he needs almost no time to get a shot off. Even more impressive, Thompson is ultra efficient from 3-point range, shooting 45 percent from that distance this season.

Adding to his prowess, he had the third-longest streak of consecutive games with making at least one 3-pointer. But that changed on Friday.

Thompson did not make a single 3-pointer in Golden State's game against the Milwaukee Bucks, thus ending the aforementioned streak. But Thompson's response when informed of the streak ending was peak Klay.

Players are sometimes blissfully unaware of certain stats. But certain stats they know about, and if they are close to something they will try and reach it in that game — a scoring feat or a triple-double are two examples of this.

However, it's probably more difficult for a player to notice how many games in a row they have made at least one 3-pointer, or how many games in a row they have scored at least 10 points, etc. Especially for a player like Thompson, whose entire job basically hinges on making as many 3-pointers that he can muster.

But it's funny that he said he didn't care. He could be deflecting his real feelings about the streak ending, or he could just be at the point of his career where championships are the only thing that matters.

Either way, Klay  Thompson will make many more 3s in his career, and another streak is coming.
