The Golden State Warriors are on the verge of sweeping the San Antonio Spurs in their first-round playoffs series, but while that sounds exciting for Dub Nation, there is something else that is getting Warriors guard Nick Young all hyped up: an upcoming Kanye West album.

When Kanye West tweeted out “June 1st” to suggest when his next album would drop, Young reacted to it on Twitter with subdued elation. No emojis. No exclamation marks. Just a simple statement that still managed to encapsulates how thrilled Young is that the album would arrive in stores right on his birthday.

This is not the first time that Kanye has caused Young’s adrenaline level to shoot up. In Kanye’s song, “Facts”, Nick Young’s alter ego was given a shoutout by the artist while alluding to 2015 Adidas signees.

“I done told y'all, all I needed was the infrastructure

Now we hottest in the streets, it ain't no discussion

James Harden, Swaggy P runnin' up the budget”

Nick Young, of course, had a reaction to his nickname getting immortalized in a Kanye song.

Young has scored just a total of six points so far in the series with San Antonio, but his minimal production barely affects the Warriors success, as Golden State is now up 3-0 in the first round.  Young surely knows what the good life is all about.
