In case you needed a reminder, Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry is the greatest shooter in NBA history, and it's not even close.

Curry erupted for 51 points Wednesday night at home against the Washington Wizards. The sharpshooter shot 15-of-24 from the field, a blistering 11-of-16 from beyond the arc, and a perfect 10-of-10 from the free-throw line. Curry sat out the entire fourth quarter and played 32 minutes on the night. The Warriors won by a final score of 144-122. Golden State is now 4-1 on the season.

As Ben Golliver of Sports Illustrated notes, Stephen Curry is the all-time leader in games with five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10, 11, 12, and 13-plus 3's in a game:

Stephen Curry is the only player in the game right now, and maybe in NBA history, where you have to guard him as soon as he crosses half court. He has unlimited range. There's no shot from deep that he can't hit. The two-time league MVP and three-time NBA champion is a human cheat code and he makes hitting 3's look way too easy.

When it's all said and done, Stephen Curry will pass Hall of Famer Ray Allen for the most 3-pointers in NBA history. Allen made 2,973 shots from distance during his legendary career. As of this moment, Curry has made 2,162, good for fifth place all-time.
