DeMarcus Cousins hasn't even played a single minute for the Golden State Warriors yet he already has one statistic up his name, albeit, a dubious one.
In the Warriors' visit to Madison Square Garden to face the New York Knicks, Cousins surprisingly got ejected despite being on the bench and wearing street clothes.
Sure, the All-Star center is inactive but that doesn't mean his mouth will be the same. Unfortunately, whatever he barked at the officials wasn't going to get a pass.
The referee who tossed DeMarcus Cousins out was Scott Foster who, ironically, has an interesting history with the Warriors big man. Back in 2013, when Cousins was still playing for the Sacramento Kings, Foster ejected him as both the Kings and Utah Jazz were entering the dugout for halftime.

In all fairness to DeMarcus Cousins, this ejection could be considered as a blip in the radar considering how he has reformed himself the past couple of years. From being considered a headcase in Sacramento, Cousins was able to clean his act up in New Orleans as he found himself in a more stable situation.
Cousins took a gamble by signing with the Warriors for an incredibly cheap price. But the promise of gaining valuable experience by virtue of a deep playoff run is expected to go a long way for the erstwhile-embattled center.
DeMarcus Cousins is steadily on his way to recovery and is expected to debut for the Warriors in a few months time. By then, the rest of the league will finally see perhaps the scariest combination of stars in NBA history.
