Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry is going to host the ESPYs on Wednesday night, and he sure looks ready for his post-NBA championship gig.

On social media, Steph teased the preparations for the event and hyped it up with a video where shared his excitement hosting the highly anticipated awards show.

Stephen Curry is also nominated for three awards, so that probably adds more to enthusiasm about the show.

For what it's worth, he's taking it seriously, even making calls to Drake and Peyton Manning to assure himself that he gets it right. While he is ecstatic to have the opportunity to be on that side of the ESPYs, Curry emphasized that he is nervous.

“When it comes to the hosting gig, obviously I’m nervous and excited. I don’t really know what to expect,” Curry said. “I actually tapped into Drake and Peyton Manning on what it’s like but I think once I get out there, I’m just going to have fun. I’ll be prepared, I’m looking for the opportunity to be on that stage. I’ve been there many times but I want to see the other side of what hosting is like.”

As for his plans on hosting, the Warriors guard did warn the audience that some brutal trash talks are coming their way. He played it down and said they shouldn't be scared as if Draymond Green is holding the microphone, but regardless, he wants them to be ready and brace themselves for what he's going to say.

Looks like the ESPYs will be an eventful occasion with Curry hosting it!
