San Francisco, CA – It was all smiles for the Golden State Warriors Thursday. Great news came from all angles for the Bay Area's squad. Draymond Green signed a new deal with TNT, Andrew Wiggins was selected as a starter for the All-Star Game, and something else happened. Oh yeah, almost forgot, Stephen Curry was selected as an All-Star starter as well.

That's pretty much how the team's group text went and the celebration inside the Chase Center. Everyone was so excited for Wiggins making his first All-Star appearance people forgot about congratulating Curry.

“I think there was like a 30-minute delay before Draymond (Green) realized he didn't say congratulations to me,” Curry told ClutchPoints. “I think I got like a quick slide on the pregame edit, and it had a whole highlight reel for Wigs and then a little splash page came on the end like oh, yeah, congrats Steph. It was beautiful.”

It's the two-time league MVP's eighth All-Star appearance. He's having another terrific season, although he's shooting a career-low in three-point percentage. Curry was expected to be an All-Star starter but Wiggins wasn't, some thought it would be a long shot, but the basketball God's made sure it happened.

The Golden State Warriors will have at least two members in this year's All-Star Game and now they hope Green can make it as a reserve.

The Golden State Warriors are on a four-game win streak heading into Saturday's matchup against the Brooklyn Nets. They are 36-13, and looking to push their streak to five games, and close out the final game of a seven-game homestand.
