Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry has some high praise for his new teammate in rookie James Wiseman, especially in regards to his manic energy on the court.

The No. 2 overall pick recently joined his team's practice in training camp for the first time after missing the previous sessions along with veteran forward Draymond Green. Apparently, Wiseman's energy is infectious, and Curry gave the perfect description for it:

Marred with Curry's broken left hand and Klay Thompson's previous ACL injury, the Warriors settled for the cellar-dwelling spot in the Western Conference to finish with a 15-50 record last season. Their struggles on the court eventually paid dividends as Curry was able to fully recover from his injury while the team landed a high selection in the 2020 NBA Draft.

Wiseman eventually fell in their hands after Georgia's Anthony Edwards was selected by the Minnesota Timberwolves with the top overall pick. The big man impressed in his shortened stint with the Memphis Tigers, averaging 19.7 points, 10.3 rebounds, and 3.0 blocks in three games played.

After being investigated by the NCAA for recruitment issues, Wiseman decided to spend time to focus on his preparations for the draft instead. His energy and presence in the paint could prove to be pivotal for the Warriors as they look to return to glory.

Stephen Curry's positive words for James Wiseman's game should be an encouraging sign for Dub Nation. While Thompson's latest devastating injury is a setback, the Warriors are hoping their young rookie can help pick up the slack on both ends of the floor.
