The Golden State Warriors will be playing in the most important game of their season thus far on Wednesday when they take on LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers to determine the seventh seed in the Western Conference. Stephen Curry knows what's at stake, which is why he is adamant that Dubs teammate Draymond Green is going to be up to the challenge.

Steph, the dark horse for this season's MVP title, is confident that Green is able to up to the plate when it matters the most:

“You see when games matter, what type of Draymond comes out,” Curry said, via 95.7 The Game on Twitter.

A win over the Lakers on Wednesday will allow the Warriors to secure the seventh seed. Should this be the case, they will face off against the second-placed Phoenix Suns in the first round of the playoffs. On the other hand, the loser of the play-in game will need to go up against the winner of the matchup between the Memphis Grizzlies and the San Antonio Spurs to determine the eighth and final seed. That team will battle the Utah Jazz in the first round.

Needless to say, a lot will be riding for the Warriors (and the Lakers) come Wednesday. These are two of the hottest teams in the NBA right now, and there's certainly going to be fireworks when they face off on the court.

Draymond Green is not the type that stuffs the stat sheet with eye-popping performances every single night (that role is reserved for Steph), but he's definitely a big game type of guy. Curry and the Warriors are fully confident that Dray's clutch gene shows out on Wednesday.
