Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr remains unfazed about superstar Stephen Curry's latest injury and stands by his belief that he'll be back in no time.

The multi-titled tactician doubled-down on his earlier sentiments even after the two-time MVP was scratched for the third straight game against the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday due to a tailbone contusion, per Antony Slater of The Athletic.

Shortly after Stephen Curry prematurely left the match against the Houston Rockets last week, Kerr made it clear that the 33-year-old guard's setback is minor and is not a big cause of concern. Most thought he'll miss just a game or two following Kerr's assurance, but it looks like the Dubs are wisely taking their time with their best player.

Curry even teased some fans when he joined the Warriors in their road trip against the Memphis Grizzlies by rocking a walking cane.

Despite the number of injuries they have endured in the 2020-21 campaign so far, Golden State is still in the running for a playoff spot in the ultra-competitive Western Conference. They currently hold a 22-21 slate, good for ninth place in the standings. The Warriors  have split their last two games sans Curry, but it's clear they need him on the floor as soon as possible.

In 39 games prior to his injury, the Warriors sharpshooter has been averaging stellar numbers of 29.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, 6.2 assists, and 1.4 steals on 47.5 percent shooting from the field and 40.8 percent from long range.

We've seen the once invincible Warriors crash and burn last season without Curry in tow. As mild as Curry's latest injury seems, the Warriors are wise enough not to rush him back, this time around.
