The Golden State Warriors and the Brooklyn Nets battled it out in an instant classic on Saturday night. It was the Dubs that emerged with a tightly-contested 110-106 victory with Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson coming up clutch for the Warriors down the stretch. The Nets, on the other hand, were led by Kyrie Irving, who put up one of his best performances of the season thus far.

After the game, Curry and Irving shared a touching moment on the basketball court as the two superstars congratulated each other following a truly memorable bout (h/t SportsCenter on Twitter):

Irving was in an exceptionally jovial mood after the game and he gave nearly every Warriors player a warm hug. It was clear that Kyrie was just happy to be playing again. He saved the best for last for Curry, though, and the pair even exchanged a few words before parting ways. It is unclear what was said between them, but based on the smiles on both of their faces, it seems like Steph was glad to see Kyrie back on the court again.

Curry, who made history yet again on Saturday, had another poor shooting night in this one, going just 5-of-18 from the floor and 3-of-10 from distance for 19 points. Curry was able to produce a couple of clutch plays in crunch time, though, as the Warriors held off a relentless Nets side.

Irving, for his part, dropped a season-high 32 points with seven rebounds, seven assists, and three triples. James Harden was a late scratch for Saturday's bout and Kyrie tried to do everything he can to carry his team to victory — and he nearly did.
