On Tuesday, the sports world received terrible news about golf star Tiger Woods being seriously injured in a rollover car crash. Woods was the only passenger in the vehicle that crashed after 7 a.m., authorities said. Seeing the rolled-over vehicle in pictures on the news and internet drew plenty of reaction from across the globe. Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry, just like the rest of us, feared for Woods' life.

“It's very unfortunate this day and age when you get a text like that and hear about Tiger,” Curry told ClutchPoints. “Obviously your mind goes, well for me, it went to a dark place. Thankfully, he didn't have any life-threatening injuries, but it's just unfortunate and sad knowing all that he's been through these last couple of years. So, thankfully, he's okay, from what I hear. I don't know too many details.”

The deputy who found Tiger Woods said there was no evidence the golfer was impaired at the scene. Authorities used special tools to free Woods from his vehicle, and he could not stand on his own power. Tiger was taken to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, where he underwent surgery on his legs. Woods' injuries are not life-threatening, and he's now awake, responsive, and recovering.

Tiger Woods is one of the greatest athletes of all time and the greatest golfer ever. He's tied for first all-time for PGA Tour wins and has won 15 majors, second only to Jack Nicklaus' 18. But Curry sees Tiger for more than just his accomplishments as a professional athlete.

“You just wish a speedy recovery because at this point, like we all know I'm a huge golf fan, you know that I love watching him play and being on the tour and competing. But at this point, it's not about golf. It's about his quality of life and being there for his kids, and that's the most important thing right now. So, hopefully, he makes a full recovery to be there for them because he has a lot of life to live.”

Hopefully, all our thoughts and prayers help Woods fully recover and that we get to hear from him soon. It's unclear if we will ever see Tiger back on the PGA Tour again, but it wouldn't be surprising if he overcomes this and makes a return.

But if we have seen the last of Tiger Woods, the golf legend, thanks for all the memories.
