Golden State Warriors superstar point guard Stephen Curry sat down with SiriusXM NBA Radio and was asked about Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan’s comments that Curry isn’t a Hall of Famer yet.

Curry, the best shooter in NBA history, thinks Jordan would have a different answer if the question was asked again:

“I love MJ. That’s my guy,” Curry told SiriusXM NBA Radio. “He’s obviously, he’s the G.O.A.T. but I don’t know if it was a wordsmith thing or if he just kinda got in his own way but I’m sure if you ask him that question now, like straight up, does he think I’m getting in there, he probably would have a different answer. If you put the ‘…yet,’ then I’m cool with that. (laughs)”

Curry, a two-time MVP and three-time champion, will be a first-ballot Hall of Famer.

The sharpshooter has career averages of 23.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 6.6 assists with the Warriors while shooting 47.7 percent from the field, 43.6 percent from beyond the arc and 90.5 percent from the free-throw line.

Jordan has to know Curry will be a Hall of Famer. His Airness did say “yet” and technically he's right — Curry is still playing and not in the Hall of Fame currently.
