While Stephen Curry wishes Kevin Durant re-signed with the Golden State Warriors, the sharpshooter holds no ill will toward KD and wishes him nothing but the best on the Brooklyn Nets.

Durant signed a four-year deal with the Nets this offseason, ending his three-year run with the Warriors. KD won two Finals MVPs with the Dubs. The Warriors might have won their third straight title last season had Durant not torn his Achilles.

Curry is once again the best player on the Warriors now that Durant is gone. The two-time MVP says he's looking forward to the “new experience” which Golden State will go through in 2019-20.

“At the end of the day, we live in an age where choice at the forefront, and K, you know, made a decision for himself and you can't argue that,” Curry said, via ESPN. “I wish we could still play with K. He's an unbelievable talent, unbelievable person. We accomplished a lot together. But — you know, things have changed a little bit. So you obviously wish him the best, obviously with his recovery first and foremost and things on and off the court. But we're gonna have to battle down the road. So this should be a fun, new experience on that front, too.”

The Warriors will be without All-Star shooting guard Klay Thompson for a big chunk of the upcoming season due to the ACL injury he suffered in the 2019 Finals.

Stephen Curry's usage rate is going to be off the charts and some believe the superstar point guard could win his third MVP award as a result.
